We are delighted to announce that with Living Eucharist 2010: SENT, we have added a second day to allow more people to participate in the Conference. We have also added a youth track on Saturday to focus specifically on strengthening participation and understanding of the Eucharist among our young people.
Highlights of the 2010 conference:
- Now a TWO day conference - Attend one or both days: April 30 and May 1 at the Tampa Convention Center to allow for greater participation.
- Celebration of the Holy Mass - Fiday, April 30. The Most Rev. Robert N. Lynch, our bishop, will lead us in the celebration of the Eucharist at the close of the Friday conference session.
- Ready...Set...SERVE! Youth Rally - Saturday, May 1. Nationally known and recognized ADORE 2097 will be leading our young people in prayer and song as they learn more about their Gospel call to serve one another before being comissioned in a prayer service that will be lead by Bishop Lynch. From the Convention Center, they will take what they have learned and put it into practice in service projects throughout the diocese.
- Three internationally renowned keynote speakers - We are blessed to have not just one, but three highly sought-after speakers: Fr. Timothy Radcliffe, OP; Fr. J. Bryan Hehir; and Fr. J-Glenn Murray, SJ. For more information, check out their biographies.
- Living Eucharist Sunday - Sunday, May 2. The Living Eucharist is not just a conference; it is a program designed to enhance ministries and service at the parish level too, so on Sunday, May 2, each parish has been asked to showcase the ministries of the parish to thank everyone who is already active in ministry and to invite those who may not even know what ministries their parish has to join in and become involved.
Breakout Sessions
There are also more than 50 breakout sessions and round-table discussions that will be held. For more information, please visit the Breakout and Disucssion Session Page.
