Bishop Lynch began Living Eucharist with the publication of his pastoral letter Living Eucharist: Gathered, Nourished, Sent. In 2010, Bishop Lynch published a supplement to the pastoral letter in English and Spanish which expands upon the Eucharistic call to be sent into the world to bring Christ to others through evangelization, catechesis, and service.

2010 Pastoral Letter Supplement
What can I do?
Living Eucharist
is a diocesan pastoral initiative begun by the Most Rev. Robert N. Lynch, Bishop of St. Petersburg, to foster a deeper experience and understanding of Eucharist - to paraphrase St. Augustine: "we are called to be what we receive." This catechesis continues with the implementation of the new translation of the Mass.
