Videos

Several Videos have been prepared as part of the Living Eucharist Initiative.

Pastoral Letter Companion Videos

The first videos were produced in conjunction with Bishp Lynch's pastoral letter Living Eucharist: Gathered, Nourished, Sent.  In these videos, Bishop Lynch introduces his pastoral letter, and the Living Eucharist initiative.  This video also goes through each part of the Mass and explains a little bit about each one.  While we have broken it into sections for easier viewing online, please keep in mind that it is intended as a whole work so that each part does not exist in isolation.

You may order a DVD copy of this video as well.

Living Eucharist Video Reflections

As we are drawing near to the close of the formal three-year program of the Living Eucharist initiative, Bishop Lynch sat down for a few minutes to reflect on different aspects of the initiative and what his thoughts about it are and his hopes for its continued impact on us as we move beyond the conferences.

Living Eucharist Television Spot

We wanted to share the good news of the Living Eucharist with people who may have missed it, and non-Catholics as well, so we produced this TV spot which will air on Bright House networks on Bay News 9, Fox News Channel, and CNN.  It will also air on WFLA Channel 8 in late April 2010.

Living Eucharist 2010: SENT Keynote Videos

Videos of the Keynote Addresses of Fr. J. Bryan Hehir; Fr. Timothy Radcliffe, OP; and Fr. J-Glenn Murray, SJ have been prepared and can be accessed on the Keynote Videos page from the 2010 conference.

Living Eucharist 2010: SENT Breakout Sessions

Presentations of the Breakout and Discussion Group Presenters from the Living Eucharist 2010: SENT conference are available on the Workshop Presentations page.

Living Eucharist 2010: SENT Additional Videos

In addition to the Keynote Addresses from the conference, video recordings were taken of Bishop Lynch's Homily, the Youth Commissioning, our young people engaged in service, and of the Closing Prayer.  These and all of our videos from Living Eucharist 2010: SENT are available on our Vimeo site.  You can also download a disk image file [.iso (Windows) | .img (MacOS X)] which you can use to make a DVD.

Living Eucharist

is a diocesan pastoral initiative begun by the Most Rev. Robert N. Lynch, Bishop of St. Petersburg, to foster a deeper experience and understanding of Eucharist - to paraphrase St. Augustine: "we are called to be what we receive." This catechesis continues with the implementation of the new translation of the Mass.
